Bever house: An oppressive reminder of a horrific tragedy demolished to make way for a memorial garden

A house in Broken Arrow where five members of the Bever family were slain is being demolished Tuesday before ownership of the property is transferred to the foundation spearheading a memorial project. The Federal National Mortgage Association, also known as Fannie Mae, will demolish the Bever house, located on the 700 block of Magnolia Court, as it prepares the property for sale to the Tulsa Community Foundation.
